Dr. Marcel Reuter, Dutch patent attorney since 2019 and professional representative before the European Patent Office, successfully represents his clients in patent and trademark matters as well as in negotiations before the European Patent Office. Thanks to his many years of experience in international companies and research institutes, he advises his clients individually and purposefully on a wide range of technical fields within intellectual property law.

After completing his studies in chemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (2001 to 2006) with a specialisation in (bio)physical chemistry, he obtained his doctorate in the field of single molecule microscopy at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (2010). He was awarded a Marie Curie fellowship. Since 2016, he has been working in the field of intellectual property. He joined the firm in 2021.

Dr Marcel Reuter’s professional focus is on chemistry, especially physical and organic chemistry, glass and polymer chemistry, and on the fields of pharmaceutical and medical applications.
