Data collection on our website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the contact details of the website operator in the imprint of this website.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected when you provide it to us. This can be, for example, data that you enter into a contact form. Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding data protection, you can contact us at any time using the address provided in the imprint. Furthermore, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Data deletion and storage duration
Unless otherwise stated, we delete data as soon as it is no longer required, for example, your email address after the end of the mandate. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a legally prescribed storage period expires, unless there is a necessity for further data storage. Certain data may need to be retained for longer periods for legal reasons. You can, of course, request information about the stored data at any time.
Analysis tools and third-party tools
2. General information and mandatory information
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Responsible party for data processing
The responsible party for data processing on this website is:
Fuchs Patentanwälte Partnerschaft mbB
60327 Frankfurt am Main
Telefon: +49 (0) 69-20 43 67 9-0
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Revocation of your consent to data processing pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77(1) GDPR
In the event of data protection breaches, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
Right to access by the data subject, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 15, 16, 17, 18 GDPR
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing at any time within the scope of the applicable legal provisions. You also have the right to correct, block, or delete this data, or to restrict its processing. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time using the address provided in the imprint.
Objection to advertising Emails pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
3. Data protection officer
We have appointed a legally required data protection officer for our law firm:

Any data subject can contact our data protection officer directly at any time with any questions or suggestions regarding data protection.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
The websites use so-called cookies in part. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. You can configure your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies, to allow cookies only in specific cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases, or in general, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
We collect and process personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing can also take place electronically. This is especially the case when an applicant submits relevant application documents to firstname.lastname@example.org via email.
If an employment contract is concluded, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship, while adhering to legal provisions. If no employment is established, the application documents will be deleted (automatically) at the latest six months after the end of the application process, unless deletion contradicts our legitimate interests or you have not explicitly consented to longer storage (applicant pool).
We also ensure that only persons involved in the application process have access to your application documents. The deletion of data is also ensured by us, as described above. The purpose of collecting the requested data is to conduct the application process and make associated hiring decisions.
The legal basis for processing is the decision on the establishment and execution of an employment relationship pursuant to Article 6(1)(b), Article 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG.
